Emanuel Gómez Miranda

Designer

@emanuelngm

He was born in Buenos Aires, the same year that the “Back to the Future” saga was coming to its end. Curious and enthusiastic, when he was a child he had fun disassembling toys to analyze how they worked and designing birthday cards for his family. At the age of 15 he passed the First Certificate Exam, bought his first mobile phone, discovered digital video and, for the first time, he had an internet connection at home. During his high school years he didn’t sleep, exploring different software for image and video editing. When he was 16, he joined his father, independent photographer, to create a small photographic studio. He took animation, illustration, web design and video treatment software courses for three years. As he was attending his multimedia design career, he studied with graphic designers, scriptwriters, programmers, advertising and marketing professionals. After he graduated, he worked as a freelance designer and a digital artist for TV documentary. In 2011, he started studying Graphic Design at Buenos Aires University, but overwhelmed by the system he decided to focus his learning on his work experience and specialized courses. That year he was told to wear permanent glasses.
